Description
Deutsch: Barocker Idealplan des Klosters Weingarten aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Der Idealplan ist wahrscheinlich 1723 entstanden (das eventuell später eingefügte Chronogramm enthält allerdings die Jahreszahl 1741). Der Plan ist eher als Idee zu verstehen, nach der die barocke Klosteranlage vollendet werden könnte, und wurde so nicht in die Tat umgesetzt. Gebaut wurden außer der Kirche nur der nördliche Verwaltungs- und Bibliothektsrakt (auf dem Bild links), Teile des südlichen Konventrakts (rechts) und ein Teil der östlichen Torgebäude (oben).
