Summary

Description Monument marking the grave of Colonel Samuel Wear, the first permanent Euro-American settler in what is now Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The monument is located in Pigeon Forge City Park, near the junction of US-441 and Wears Valley Road (US-321). Wear's Fort was located in the vicinity.
