English: Kudidao monastery, now in ruins, was built during the reign of King Narai (1656-1688), and restored in 1711 by Crown Prince Boromakot, who became King Boromakot in 1732. It is a good example of Late Ayutthaya style.
Pictured in this photo is a hall of the monastery that has been partially restored in modern times. The lean of the building walls as restored, which is obvious in this photo, was intentionally designed to compensate for an instability of the ground underneath the platform.
