„Das Wappen der Stadt ist geteilt in Rot und Gold; oben im roten Feld eine silberne Burg mit Zinnenturm, unten im goldenen Feld auf grünem Boden ein springender roter Hirsch verfolgt von einem roten Jagdhund.“
„Die Flagge ist schwarz-gelb gestreift. (Querform: Streifen waagerecht verlaufend, Längsform: Streifen senkrecht verlaufend) und mittig mit dem Stadtwappen belegt.“[1]
