Object history

Deutsch: Buche und Bach stehen redend für den Ortsnamen, der Bach, an dem Buchen stehen, bedeutet. Die beiden kleinen Schilde weisen auf einstige Herrschaftsinhaber hin. Der von Silber und Schwarz gevierte Schild erinnert an die Landesherrschaft der Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Ansbach. Der linke Schild ist das Wappen der Herren von Kuedorfer, Reichsministerialen, die im 16. Jahrhundert ausgestorben sind und in Büchenbach begütert waren.
