Svenska: Vissefjärda kyrka. 1759 fattades beslut att bygga en ny kyrka. Kyrkan uppfördes i en för Kalmarbygden särpräglad stil .Den invigdes den 28 februari 1773 av biskop Karl Gustav Schröder.
English: Vissefjärda Church. 1759, a decision was made to build a new Church. The Church was built in a distinctive style for Kalmar area. It was inaugurated on February 28, 1773 by Bishop Karl Gustav Schröder.
