Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A Tomcat aircraft from Fighter Squadron 102 flying over a Soviet Balzam Class intelligence collecting ship off the Virginia coast during transit across Atlantic for participation in NATO Exercise (Ocean Safari 85). The aircraft was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1) aboard the aircraft USS AMERICA (CV-66).
