Op 30 oktober organiseerde Pact Utrecht een bijeenkomst voor alle Utrechtse cultuurmakers over culturele inclusiviteit. Met keynote lezingen van Adeshola Tunde Adefioye (dramaturg KVS Brussel) en Rajae El Mouhandiz (artistieke duizendpoot en oprichter Maghreb Takent), workshops van o.a. Binoq Atana, Karima Belhaj, Lida van den Broek (Kantharos) en een gesprek met Utrechtse cultuurmakers over culturele diversiteit in de context van de Domstad. Dagvoorzitter is Andrew Makkinga. De bijeenkomst werd afgesloten met een gezamenlijk diner. Pact Utrecht is een netwerk van Utrechtse cultuurmakers. Het netwerk zoekt met elkaar en binnen de eigen organisaties naar strategieën om inclusiever te worden. Dat doet het netwerk vanuit de overtuiging dat Utrecht gebaat is bij meer contact tussen verschillende mensen, meer eige- naarschap van diverse groepen en een gedeelde cultuurbeleving. Het netwerk van Pact Utrecht bestaat op dit moment uit medewerkers van Het Huis Utrecht, Theatergroep Dox, TivoliVredenburg, Museum Catharijneconvent, New Dutch Connections, Gemeente Utrecht, ZIMIHC podium voor amateurkunst, ROC Midden Nederland, Insomnio Ensemble, Operamakers, Jongeren Cultuurhuis Kanaleneiland en De Coöperatie. |
