English: A newly published book from Springer Spektrum of 70 short popular lectures at Heidelberg University, compiled by Joachim Wambsganß, features many ESO images as well as articles covering many entertaining and fascinating aspects of astronomy. Among the forty or so contributors are Markus Pössel and Carolin Liefke, representatives of the German branch of ESO’s Science Outreach Network (ESON).
