Description

Members of the Ugly Men’s Association building an extension on 210 Carr Street. During WWI and in the 1920s the Ugly Men’s Association built or extended homes of war widows, disabled soldiers and POWs. The owner of this house, William Marshall was a POW in Germany from 1916 and returned to Australia in 1919.
