Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS William R. Rush (DD-714) underway on 13 March 1946. She is a modified for anti-kamikaze protection. The aft torpedo tubes were replaced by a third quadruple 40 mm mount along with gun directors for 40 mm gun control. Late war electronics were improved with the addition of a new air-search radar, radio jammers, and radio direction finders. She is painted in Camouflage Measure 22.
