Summary

Description The U.S. Navy battleship USS Pennsylvania (BB-38) being scuttled off Kwajalein after being subjected to both "Crossroads" atomic tests. She was towed to Kwajalein after the explosions and studied there. Due to the large amount of radiation on board, she was towed to sea and scuttled at the conclusion of the radiation studies.
