Summary

Description The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Hyman (DD-732) underway during the early or middle 1950s. Note that the ship still carries 40 mm guns (replaced by 76 mm/50s by mid-decade) and 20 mm guns, but has a tripod foremast and SPS-6 radar (both typically fitted during the early '50s).
