English: Submerged signal ejector on the Gato-class USS Cavalla (SS-244) submarine. The retired submarine is a museum at Seawolf Park in Galveston, Texas, USA. A submerged signal ejector launches signal flares, distress buoys, sensors, and countermeasure decoys from a submarine.
