Description
English: Petty Officer 2nd Class Richard Walker, a lab technician with 2nd Dental Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, holds up a finalized crown and a crown carved by the Sirona MC XL inLAB, here, April 14. The machine precisely cuts the crowns from a digital image into a block of zirconia (yttria-stabilized zirconia) within a short amount of time, allowing the quick turn around the battalion strives for.
