DescriptionTwo DC-3s working Goderich, ON, 1977.jpg
English: Two C-47Bs (DC-3s - C-GSCA & C-GSCB) - one refueling, while the other takes off, at the Goderich Airport in W:Ontario, W:Canada in 1977. These two, along with a Lockheed Lodestar, were supporting the Goderich Goodtime Boogie Skydiving Jamboree as part of Goderich's Jubilee 3 celebrations. More info in the Goderich Airport article.
Status of planes as of June 2020:
C-GSCA, first flown in 1945, crashed during an emergency highway landing attempt with 1 fatality, ~7 years after this shot was taken, probably caused by a refueling error, and it was written off as damaged beyond repair.[1]
C-GSCB, first flown in 1944, was in service until January 2020, when it joined the American Airpower Heritage Flying Museum in Dallas, TX[2]
