Description
English: Turkish Howitzer displayed outside Victoria Barracks, Melbourne, Australia. A plaque alongside the gun reads: "Turkish 5.9 Inch Howitzer captured on 8th November 1917 by the Australian Mounted Division near Huj during the offensive against the Gaza-Beersheba Line which culminated in the occupation of Jerusalem".
