DescriptionTromie Dam - geograph.org.uk - 808295.jpg
English: Tromie Dam. The dam enlarges Loch an t-Seilich for hydroelectric production. The circular enclosure is an intake which sends water through a tunnel to the Cuaich power station, 121279 the other side of Bogha-cloiche (hill in the background). Eventually the water enters the Tay after passing through several turbines.
This is part of the prewar Grampian Electricity Company's project.
