Summary

Description
English: An illustration showing the relative sizes, colors, shapes, and albedos of large trans-Neptunian objects with sizes of >700 km. Size uncertainties are shown with a dark colored arc, and objects with a lack of color data are represented by a black ellipse with a white outline.

Size measurement sources include: Nimmo et al. 2017 for the diameters of Pluto and Charon, Weaver et al. 2016 for the dimensions of Pluto's minor satellites, Sicardy et al. for the diameter of Eris, Brown and Butler 2023 for the diameter of Dysnomia, Kondratyev and Kornoukhov 2018 for the dimensions of Haumea, Ragozzine and Brown 2009 for the diameter of Namaka, Fernández-Valenzuela et al. 2024 for the dimensions and shapes of Hi'iaka and Weywot, Brown et al. 2013 for the dimensions of Makemake, Parker et al. 2016 for the diameter of S/2015 (136472) 1, Kiss et al. 2019 for the diameters of Gonggong and Xiangliu, Kiss et al. 2024 for the dimensions of Quaoar, Brown and Butler 2018 for the diameters of Orcus and Vanth, Lellouch et al. 2013 and Rommel et al. 2020 for the approximate diameter measurements of Sedna, Lellouch et al. 2017 and Brown and Butler 2017 for the diameter measurements of Salacia, Grundy et al. 2019 for the diameter of Actaea, Rommel et al. 2023 for the dimensions of 2002 MS4, Vilenius et al. 2014 and Grundy et al. 2005 for the approximate diameter measurements of 2002 AW197, Souami et al. 2020 for the dimensions and diameters of Varda and Ilmarë, Sheppard et al. 2018 for the diameters of 2013 FY27 and S/2018 (532037) 1, Dias-Oliveira et al. 2017 for the dimensions of 2003 AZ84, Johnston's Archive for the approximate diameter of S/2005 (208996) 1, and Levine et al. 2021 for the dimensions of Ixion.
