this is absolutly incorrect. the line from the boat to the cleat (OR VISVERSA) always goes to the farthest horn on the cleaat, away from where the line is coming from, not the closes. makes a 180 back to and then around the nearest, leading in the original direction buy crosses over the top of the cleat, then down under the fartherst horn and then back over the cleat and under the nearest horn to form a figure eight. Two or three figure eights are wrapped, There is no need to add more than three. A line will part before it can be pulled undone. Finish with a weather hitch or a couple wrapps aroudn the cleat. If a line is tied as shwon in the photo, it will jam on a Standard Cleat.
