This is a detail of the handscroll, depicting the Jade Maiden of Dingsi (丁巳玉女), the Jade Maiden of Dingwei (丁未玉女), and the Jade Maiden of Dingyou (丁酉玉女) from left to right. Each figure is individually named in the gold calligraphy above their respective depiction.

Notes

The handscroll certifies the ordination of Empress Zhang as a priestess in the hierarchy of religious Daoism. It depicts fifty-two gods and immortals, each named in gold calligraphy, from Daoism.

The six Jade Maidens together are named as the Liuding Shennü (六丁神女) in the calligraphy elsewhere on the scroll.
