English: Dr. Tanzil Rahman was recently elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Fong Lim constituency in Darwin, Northern Territory, during the August 2024 election. Rahman represents the Country Liberal Party (CLP) and played a pivotal role in the party's substantial success in this election. He won with a strong majority of 57.8% of the vote, succeeding Mark Monaghan​
