Description
English: Tanabe, born Takeo, Shōchiku IV (b. 1973) at the Musée Guimet explaining his large installation work. He is the son of Chikuunsai III (d. March 2014). Shōchiku means “little bamboo“. In 2017 he inherited the name Chikuunsai IV, which means ” bamboo cloud“.
