Newfoundland Insectarium, Deer Lake, Newfoundland. After all of those interesting if staid exhibits, the butterfly pavilion was a major anticlimax. It was as advertised - a pavilion with butterflies - but they left out the part about how they keep the place hotter and steamier than any sauna I've ever been in, and that the butterflies have a habit of flying in your face. Thoroughly unpleasant. I stayed in there just long enough to get this picture, and I didn't particularly care that I didn't get a shot of any actual butterflies (those dark spots on the ceiling might be butterflies, but I don't remember).

Insectarium de Terre-Neuve, Deer Lake, Terre-Neuve. Suite de toutes ces expositions intéressantes mais guindées, le pavillon des papillons était une grande déception. C'était comme on a décrit - un pavillon avec des papillons - mais on n'a dit pas qu'ils garder la chambre plus chaude et humide que tout sauna que j'ai jamais visité, et que les papillons ont l'habitude de voler dans le visage. Très désagréable. Je n'y demeurais que pendant juste assez longtemps pour prendre cette photo, et il ne m'importait beaucoup qu'il n'y avait aucuns papillons sur la photo (ces taches sombres sur le plafond pourrait être papillons, mais je ne me souviens pas).
