| Description |
English: This is a limited-use-media Presto card, known as the Presto ticket, this is designed for people who do not have a regular green or black Presto cards as well as for those who do not often rely on taking the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), or for tourists using the system. The picture above is a one-ride Presto ticket, they also include a two-ride ticket as well as a day pass. Just like with green or black Presto cards, Presto tickets, have an embedded RFID chip on which they can swipe or tap the Presto ticket on the Presto electronic fare readers when boarding a TTC bus or streetcar, and to pass through the subway station turnstiles or fare gates. But however, unlike with the green or black regular Presto cards, Presto tickets are specifically valid for use on TTC only and are not reloadable and do have an expiry date, which is shown on the front of the ticket. |
