Українська: Saint Pimen the Faster from Nearer Caves of Kyiv Caves Monastery (died 1215)

Пимен прозорливий посник з Ближніх печер (XI ст. - † 1215 р., Київ) — православний святий, преподобний. Чернець Печерського монастиря.. Пам'ять 11 жовтня і 9 вересня. Вів дуже суворий спосіб життя і строго постився. Мав дар зціляти хворих і передбачати події - провістив за 2 роки власну смерть. Згадується в "Патерику Печерському" в житії прп. Микити Затвірника за ігуменства прп. Никона Великого, тобто не пізніше 1088 р. До середини ХII ст. його життя відносили помилково, плутаючи з його тезкою, до ігумена Пимена пісника (1132-1141). Помер в один день зі священномучеником Кукшою, про загибель якого від рук язичників прп. Пимен провістив на церковній службі: "Брат наш Кукша противу света убиен бысть".

Його мощі спочивають у Ближніх печерах.
