Summary

Description
English: Superellipses are mathematical functions, typically two dimensional x and y. In 3 dimensions (x, y, z) superellipses are called "Superellipsoids". Depending on the parameters used in the 3D superellipse equation one can create a cube, a sphere, an octahedron or a pinched object similar to a star. In this rendering we see ten typical stages of that parameter change.
