DescriptionSternwheeler Portland docked at Waterfront Park in 2012, sunlit.jpg
The historic steam tug Portland, a 1947 sternwheeler based in Portland, Oregon, United States, at its Willamette River dock next to a barge at Portland's Waterfront Park. The tugboat is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). It serves as the home of the Oregon Maritime Museum, but is fully operable and occasionally makes excursions. Visible in the background of this photo are the Burnside Bridge, the glass spires of the Oregon Convention Center, and office buildings in the Lloyd District. A section of the Eastbank Esplanade that is supported by piers in the water is also visible, in the righthand background.
