Description

This bronze statue of Charles Cameron Kingston, SA Premier from 1893 to 1899, was unveiled on 27 May 1916, eight years after Kingston's death. It was placed in Victoria Square, on the Grote Street corner, facing his former electorate of West Adelaide and his former residence in Grote Street. Register, 26 May 1916,p 4; Advertiser, 26 May 1916, p6.
