Summary

Description
English: Cormoran (ship) moored opposite the Botanic Gardens in Brisbane. The building on the river to the extreme right of the image is a floating swimming bath, designed to protect bathers from sharks. (Description supplied with photograph). Cormoran was a small German cruiser built in 1893. She was commissioned for Colonial service and based in China from 1908 until 1914 when she was sunk.
