English: St Thomas, Newport - Alabaster monument to Sir Edward Horsey (d.1582) recumbent effigy on a half-rolled-up map, (affinities with the later monument of Sir John Oglander in Brading Church IOW) strap work background, flanked by 2 columns, crowned by 3 achievements. (listed building text). Canting arms of Horsey: Azure, three horse's heads and necks couped or bridled argent (The British Herald; Or, Cabinet of Armorial Bearings of the Nobility ...
