Summary

Description
English: St Rollox (Balornock) Locomotive Depot, 1948
A Sunday scene, when most of the Depots 75 or so locomotives were "at home". This was the Caledonian Railway's principal depot for services from Glasgow Buchanan Street, all closed some 50 years ago. The allocation in 1950 comprised:- 33 4-6-0, 5 4-4-0, 1 2-6-0, 27 0-6-0, 7 0-6-0T and 3 0-4-4T.
