Summary
| Description |
English: Roman Catholic church of St Mary, Hawkwood Lane, Chislehurst, southeast London (formerly Kent), seen from the west. The house on the left is the presbytery, built at the same time as the church. Centre right is a mortuary chapel designed by Henry Clutton and built in 1874 for Emperor Napoleon III of France. In 1881 Empress Eugénie moved to Farnborough in Hampshire, and took the Emperor's remains with her. |
