English: St James' R.C. Church This church (1881) in High Street is fourteenth-century English Decorated Gothic with a 30m broach spire on a tower. (Source: Borders and Berwick, An Architectural Guide by Charles Alexander Strang). The church is split between two squares but only a small part of the southwest corner is in the viewpoint square. Viewed from Traquair Road.
