DescriptionSt Helen's House - geograph.org.uk - 709276.jpg
English: St Helen's House This Grade 1 listed building was designed by Joseph Pickford and built in 1767. Noted local industrialist Joseph Strutt lived here from 1806-1830. For many years the building housed Derby Grammar School, and the obelisk in front is a memorial to their pupils who died in the two world wars. Currently empty, there are plans to turn the building into an upmarket hotel.
