A.vulgaris has in recent years become an invasive pest in Sweden of significant cornern. My own recent studies have identified a number of specimens that exhibit albinism, and I have an interest in whether this apparently commonly-observed trait in land molluscs infers any evolutionary or short-term advantage to this specific invasive species.
