Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | The article is entirely/exclusively about the 2015 book, "So You've Been Publicly Shamed" and this is the cover of the first US edition published by Riverhead Books. This is the lowest resolution of the cover available, and it is absolutely necessary to distinguish this book from other book articles, and to further identify the subject of the article. It only furthers the author (Jon Ronson)'s interests financially, because the book cover is widely available in advertisements of the book, and it doesn't take away from his ability to market the book whatsoever to have the cover on Wikipedia. Furthermore, this book cover will only become uncopyrighted in many many decades after the author's death as per US Copyright law, and so it's unlikely to be replaced with a free alternative. It'll only used in the infobox at the top of the article, nowhere else. |
