A reproduction of a water colour drawing of the Steelyard, the headquarters in London of the Hanseatic League. The illustration shows part of the river frotage and the water gate, surmounted on each side by the emblem of the League - the German Eagle. The site is now occupied by Cannon Street Railway Station. Reproduced by kind permission of P. R. Poland & Son, Ltd.
