Summary

Description
English: A party of skiers arrives after traversing to the South Pole. Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, Dec. 13, 2009. Flags of Antarctic Treaty signatory nations are at the ceremonial South Pole. Hose in foreground is the fuel line through which JP-8 is transferred from LC-130 aircraft to the station fuel tanks.
