Slyne Head Lighthouse. Probably taken on the annual autumn oiling trip undertaken by the Commissioners of Irish Lights where they would land oil in 45 gallon drums to lighthouses to stock up their supplies for the winter. Diesel oil and parrafin oil. Diesel for generators and parafin for the light. The steam ship TSS-Isolda in the background, a lighthouse tender for Commissioners of Irish Lights.
