DescriptionShropshire Union Canal Bridge No 13 at Brewood, Staffordshire - geograph.org.uk - 1371699.jpg
English: Shropshire Union Canal Bridge No 13 at Brewood, Staffordshire This is School Bridge, without a boat.
The canal was built by Thomas Telford and opened in 1835. He attempted to minimise the distance by adopting straight lines wherever possible, so his canal includes many long embankments and cuttings (as here by Brewood).
