Summary

Description
English: Sentinel 4w Works No.7109 of 1927 for Croydon Gas Works No.37 'Joyce' and repainted (as LMS No.7109) to represent one of the S&DR 1929 built Sentinels (LMS Nos.7190/91; BR Nos.47190/91) which worked at Norton Hill Colliery. No.7109 was effectively the prototype of the S&DR Sentinels which were identical apart from having round windows instead of square. The design was unusual for Sentinels in that they had twin side by side chimneys. Seen at Midsomer Norton during the Somerset & Dorset Railway Gala, 4 July 2021.
