Türkçe: Rusların Ankara'daki 29 Ekim 1933 törenlerine uçakla katılmaları nedeniyle 5 uçaktan oluşan Türk uçuş ekibi Sovyetler Birliği'ne iade-i ziyaret maksatlı gönderildi. Dönüşte uçaklar Romanya'yı da ziyaret etti. Atatürk uğurlamada heyete; "Kendinizi Ruslara iyi gösterin" demişti.
Sovyetler Birliği ile ilişkileri dengede tutmak amacıyla bir yıl önce Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin onuncu yıl kutlamaları münasebetiyle Türkiye’ye gelen Sovyet heyetinin ziyaretlerini iade maksadıyla 1 Mayıs 1934 şenliklerinde Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ni temsil etmek diğer taraftan da sahip oldukları ileri düzeydeki uçak ve havacılık teknolojilerinde faydalanmak amacıyla 1934 yılında bir heyetin Moskova’ya gönderilmesine karar verilmiştir. Görev 1932 yılında yurtiçinde en uzun turu başarıyla tamamlayan Eskişehir Birinci Uçak Alayı’na verilmiştir. English: Due to the Russians’ participation in the ceremonies in Ankara on October 29, 1933, a Turkish flight team consisting of 5 aircraft was sent to the Soviet Union for a return visit. On their return, the aircraft also visited Romania. Atatürk had said to the delegation during the farewell ceremony; “Show yourselves well to the Russians.” In order to keep the relations with the Soviet Union balanced, it was decided to send a delegation to Moscow in 1934 to return the visit of the Soviet delegation that had come to Turkey the year before for the tenth anniversary celebrations of the Republic of Turkey, in order to represent the Republic of Turkey in the festivities of May 1, 1934, and to benefit from the advanced aircraft and aviation technologies they possessed. The duty was given to the Eskişehir First Aircraft Regiment, which had successfully completed the longest tour in the country in 1932. |
