Français : :Quatrième Sceau. (1412.) Fragment de sceau rond, de 55 mill. -- Arch. de l'Emp. 6478.
Un vaisseau avec ses deux châteaux, son mât, sa voile et ses agrès, voguant à gauche. La voile est au chef de trois fleurs de lys et est accostée dans le champ de deux autres.

Appendu à la vente d'une maison faite au collége de Bourgogne par un écrivain libraire de Paris, par devant le prévot des marchands Pierre Gencien, le 12 october 1412.
English: "Seal of the city of Paris, France. 6th. 1412-1416."

SC-SPCOLL: Collection includes handwritten memorandum for York University Libraries dated April 24, 1963. Item Description: Seal is "D5585". Number identifies the original seal matrix (die) held by the Archives nationales (France). Item is one of a set of twenty-four, housed in a two tier wooden box. Seal impression is in relief. Seal motif is of a vessel with full rigging, sail raised, three fleurs-de-lis on the sail, and flanked by two other fleurs-de-lis in the background. Lacks inscription. Seal was appended to several documents from October 1412-March 1416. Seal impression is in relief. As viewed University of Notre Dame, Medieval Institute Library website, February 10, 2014. Physical Description: 1 circular municipal seal impression : clay, ill. ; 5 x 5 cm.
