Title
Suomi: Linköpingin vankilan ovella vuonna 1600
Object type painting Edit this at Wikidata
Description
Suomi: Helene Schjerfbeckin historiamaalaus. Christina Banér ja hänen poikansa ovat juuri saaneet tietää hänen miehensä, valtaneuvos Gustaf Banérin teloituksesta Linköpingin vankilassa. Maalauksen luultiin pitkään virheellisesti esittävän Kaarina Maununtytärtä, kunnes taidehistorioitsija Juha Ilvas vuonna 1989 osoitti sen alkuperäisen aiheen. Teos kuuluu Meritan taidesäätiön kokoelmiin.
