The first built of Spring Valleys three major distributing reservoirs in San Francisco is Laguna Honda, at SeventhAvenue opposite Ortega Street. When Pilarcitos water was first brought to the city in 1862, it was delivered here,and this deep lake has been part of the city system ever since. At elevation 370 feet, it supplies high city areas.
