Notes A miniature from Liber geneseos illustris familiae Schidloviciae. The scene was most probably inspired by the court of Sigismund I the Old with the effigy of the King as Emperor and the artist as a court jester playing with a dog, which also could be considered as effigy of the famous jester Stańczyk - Marcin Latka (Artinpl).
