English: ORIGINALLY BUILT IN APPROXIMATELY 1765 AS A COUNTRY FARMHOUSE AND HOME. IT IS ARCHITECTURALLY SIMILAR TO NUMEROUS NEW JERSEY COLONIAL HOMES. IT WAS LIVED BY THE WORMERS FAMILY FROM 1847 TO 1937

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MOUNTAIN AVE IS IN WARREN TOWNSHIP. THERE IS ALSO A MOUNTAIN AVENUE IN PLAINFIELD AND THEY ARE DIFFERENT ALTHOUGH CLOSE. NOTE THE NATIONAL REGISTER PLAQUE BESIDE THE DOORWAY.
