Summary

Description A U.S. Navy Naval Aircraft Factory SBN-1 assigned to Torpedo Squadron Eight (VT-8) pictured after forced landing at Naval Air Station Hampton Roads, Virginia (USA). This specific aircraft was delivered to VT-8 in early-September 1941. Following this accident, it underwent a period of overhaul and repair and was returned to squadron service on 18 November 1941.
