The village is relatively new, having been planned and built since the 1990s.
The village reminds me of buildings in Italy or France, especially in the villages over there. So is weird having a village like this in the West Midlands!

Developed by Parkridge Developments in partnership with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Dickens Heath Village Centre comprises apartments, retail and commercial space, office/work from home space, a Community Centre, Library and Medical Centre, and is complemented throughout by sculptures and commissioned public seating.
